Copyright and Takedown Policy
Reference footage, music, likeness rights, and reporting infringement on Viral AI Video.
Last updated: 2026-11-04
Viral AI Video respects copyright, trademarks, privacy, and personal likeness rights. This policy explains user responsibilities and how to report material on our service. It does not certify that a reference, showcase, or generated video is cleared for every use.
1. Independent Service and Third-Party Names
Viral AI Video is independent of TikTok, CapCut, ByteDance, social platforms, trend creators, and people appearing in reference clips. References to third-party names describe the subject or available publishing option and do not imply endorsement or permission. Trademarks remain the property of their owners.
2. Reference Clips and Showcases
You must have the rights or another lawful basis needed to upload, analyze, adapt, and use reference material. A clip being public, short, credited, downloadable, or popular does not establish those rights. Permission for one platform or purpose may not cover use on this website, AI processing, advertising, or commercial distribution.
The site can display reference or showcase footage alongside AI-generated examples. We do not represent all displayed footage as our own synthetic work or assume that people and creators shown have authorized it merely because it was posted online. Each third-party showcase or reference needs its own rights assessment and any necessary permission. A willingness to remove a clip after a complaint is not a substitute for that permission.
Generating new frames or choosing a recreated background does not automatically clear rights in the source, characters, choreography, artwork, brands, or a person's likeness. The service does not guarantee that an output is copyrightable, exclusive, non-infringing, or licensed for commercial use. Relevant provider terms and applicable law also affect how an output may be used.
3. Music and Audio
A link to a TikTok or other platform sound page is a publishing option, not a license to download, copy, embed, or redistribute the recording. Add music only where the platform and track permissions cover your account, territory, and intended use. Commercial and advertising uses may require different music rights from a personal post. A platform's music permission may not cover a downloaded video reposted elsewhere.
Audio provided with a video may be model-generated or a separately identified original rhythm. Such audio is not the licensed original trend recording. Users must hold any rights needed for audio they supply or add. We do not offer a blanket commercial-use or music-clearance guarantee, and removal after a complaint does not authorize prior use.
4. Likeness and Consent
Human photo references must show you or explicitly consenting adults aged 18 or older. Minors, celebrities, politicians, and other public figures are prohibited. Consent must cover the specific AI depiction and intended use; owning a photograph does not necessarily give you rights in the subject's likeness. See our Acceptable Use Policy.
5. Reporting Infringement
Email support@viralaivideo.org with the subject "Takedown Request". Include:
- The specific page, file URL, or task identifier on our service, and any location where you saw the material.
- The work, trademark, or personal likeness involved and an explanation of your rights or authority to act for the rights holder.
- Your name and contact email.
- A statement that you have a good-faith belief that the disputed use is not authorized by the rights holder, its agent, or the law.
- A statement that the notice is accurate and, where applicable, under penalty of perjury that you are authorized to act for the owner of the right, together with your physical or electronic signature.
For a non-consensual likeness report, explain that you are the depicted person or their authorized representative and why the use lacks consent. Do not send unnecessary sensitive documents; we may request proportionate information to verify a claim. Do not knowingly submit a false notice.
6. Handling Notices
We review sufficiently specific notices and may restrict access while investigating, request clarification, remove hosted material, or restrict accounts involved in repeated infringement. Urgent safety or non-consensual intimate-imagery reports receive priority. We aim to act promptly and follow applicable legal deadlines; this is not a guaranteed 24-hour resolution service.
Where applicable law provides a counter-notice or appeal procedure, we will explain the required information and process. Relevant notice details may need to be shared with the uploader or authorities to resolve the claim. We do not promise absolute confidentiality.
We can act on content and links under our control. Removing our copy does not erase provider-hosted files, platform posts, caches, or copies downloaded by others. You may also need to notify the service hosting those copies.
For questions about a notice or a decision, reply to the contact above with the notice reference.
